What is your most useless talent?

I don’t know if it’s a talent per se, but I can contort my lips in a way that most people cannot. It’s actually fun to watch people try. It’s sort of an Elvis lip on top but then you move your lower lip to the other side.

They say it is the little things in life … what matters most to you?

Love. If I’ve learned anything after divorce it’s that when you surround yourself with love, you can conquer anything.

What would be at the top of your bucket list?

To travel the world. I’ve barely scratched the surface.

Your fav childhood memory?

This is a hard one! Maybe family vacations in Maine? I feel so lucky to now live where I vacationed as a child.

What would you most like to change in the world?

My one wish would be for everyone to treat other human beings with dignity. No matter what. Oh, how we’d change the world just starting there.

Sleep or sex – yes, we asked.

If you asked me this when I was married, I’d probably say sleep. Now? Sex. Because life is too short and once you find comfort in your own skin and a partner that is truly compatible, well, it just works. 😉

and your favorite quote and why …

One quote that I’ve always loved is from Jo in Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women:

“I like good strong words that mean something.”

Maybe it’s the writer in me, but I believe that words are just so powerful and important.
